From Michael Jackson's 'Black or White' at the turn of the decade to Britney's 'Baby One More Time' right at the end, the 90s gave us some of the most memorable hits in music history. This era also saw the rise of several boy bands, girl groups and mega-stars in the R&B genre and many remain not only celebrated but the bar by which others are measured. Beyonce, Jlo, Usher, Brandy and Blackstreet spring to mind and the list of breakout acts is formidable. It's little wonder therefore why the 90s are known as the golden age of R&B.
While most of our Idols hadn't even been born when all of this transpired it's also well documented that good music is timeless and from the looks of these Song Choices, our Top 10, though young have exceptional taste. Here's what they're singing for you come Sunday.
