A near brush with death puts one’s life into perspective. All the layers of doubt fall off and it’s like your vision is renewed. You are furnished with a rare sense of clarity. It becomes more urgent to live a meaningful life full of love. You want to love more. This is how Kwanele found himself bent at the knee asking for Kea’s hand in marriage. After a life-threatening scorpion bite and the prospect of losing Kea without having declared his commitment, Kwanele took the decision and made the grand romantic gesture.

But romance seems to have collided with a disturbing reality. While we all know that there are many skeletons in the Khozas closet, Kwanele did not. Until the other day, that is.

In the midst of lobola negotiations – which weren’t going so great – Kwanele happened upon something alarming while hiding out in Harriet’s closet. He saw a trophy that belonged to Jerry and it was laced in blood, and Harriet nonchalantly shuffling it about in secret. With his own two eye’s Kwanele had come across undoubtable evidence that Harriet is behing Jerry’s mysterious murder.

Can Vuyiswa goe back to the case after the Captain took it off her desk? Will they expose Harriet before it’s too late? Most importantly, what does this all mean for he and Kea?
