Zandile was the new girl in the village. All the boys her age would do anything to convince her to date them, but it was Vezi’s love letters that won her heart.
This was back in 1996 and Vezi was lucky to have a trustworthy friend in his corner, who wrote Zandile love letters on his behalf.
He wrote like 50 pages of love letters to Zandile and she rejected all his letters, until one day when Vezi showed up at her house with his cousin. Zandile was reluctant to go talk to Vezi and he refused to leave until she came outside to talk to him.
Zandile did not mince her words and made it clear to him that she wanted someone she could build a future with, someone she could start a family with.
Vezi spoke of how lucky he was to have good friends to help him write love letters, adding that everything came together in the end because he was patient and sincere. Tonight, the couple have their traditional and white wedding and they invite everybody to celebrate with them.
