Thandeka and Sbu’s remains tragic. Just when you thought that things were finally looking up for our favourite couple, there goes Murphy’s Law ruining a good thing. But can our hearts stand another setback for these two?

Indeed, things do not look good. Just to dial things back a bit, Thandeka and Sbu had already started their journey towards expanding their family with the addition of a little one.

The process got tricky and then tough before a miracle met hard work and Thandeka found out that she was pregnant with their first child. Their trials looked like a thing of the past. But boy were we all mistaken. In a cruel twist of fate, Thandeka and Sbu’s suffering was only beginning.

Sbu has been sedated under a coma since Ntandane knocked him unconscious in a car accident. As it pans out, this is no ordinary car crash that can be fixed. There is a troubling sense that that Thandeka and Sbu will be undone by this particular obstacle. This is no ordinary bump in the road.

Was there some ominous truth to Mehlemamba’s vision? A lucid dream in which Thandeka and Sbu’s happily ever after vanishes into thin air? Could it be? Is Sbu dying right before our eyes?
