Before his death, Zweli revealed his true not-so-royal lineage to Sihle, and that was the last we heard from him. Indeed he wasn’t going to carry on living a lie alongside a lying Sihle. If she was going to lie about trying to murder Qondi in cold blood she certainly did not deserve to step into the role of uNdlunkulu again.

A man of honour himself, the lie he was keeping weighed too heavy. How can they both even consider pretending towards royalty when they were not? Zweli could no longer lie. Sihle on the other hand stood to lose far too much. Was all her lying going to be for nothing?

Not about to lose her power and status, Sihle went on another killing spree with help, this time, of Ngwebedla. She set out to dispose of him before the truth came out and disposed of her. And what a show she put on…

The chief may have passed away but the show is far from over. The end of one lie begets the beginning of a whole series of lies. Things are not as they seem and Blade alongside Fezile and the Zungus are asking the right question: Was Zweli’s death an accident?

Sihle is on a mission to keep a whole bunch of secrets at this point but was a good idea to bring Ngwebedla and Solomzi into her circle of trust?  

Upon her return, uMum’Ndlunkulu was incensed at the mere idea that Sihle was back and all charges dropped. It was clear that Sihle had found another way out of trouble by lying. What is surely most infuriating Qondi is that everyone bought her lie.

But the truth has a way of coming out and if Blade and the Zungus have anything to do with it, this will happen sooner rather than later.
