The Idols fam are never short on hilarious gags and emotional reactions to the evening's showcase and since it's Throwback Thursday what better way to celebrate than to take another look at the fan reactions that have stuck with us all week.

When Randall gives a very rare Standing O

While it isn't uncommon for Unathi and Somizi to get swept away in a song a whole season could go by before we see Randall express any such visceral emotion. This is why 1000s gave Yanga well-deserved props she inspired Mr.A to rise from his seat and applaud her splendid cover of 'Not Yet Uhuru' by Letta Mbulu

Making it look so easy

Xae made doing a fully choreographed number look so easy. In reality, that she sounded so good going ALL OUT is a testament to her excellent technique. Most of all, she had fun and inspired others watching to do the same.

Radiating positive energy

With the immense amount of stress our Idols have to shoulder every week, it's easy to forget the most important thing a Pop Star is supposed to do; entertainment and have fun! In that vein, Niyaaz is one performer who knows how to get lost in the music.

Turning up the heat

Nosipho wasn't phased about taking on a spicy song, delivering the vocals honestly and looking the part too. After all, a killer ensemble is a key part of any showstopping performance.

Always keep them guessing

Thando barely moved during her pre-performance dance-off which might have had some of her fans worried. Any such doubts were soon laid to rest however when she slayed Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' keeping up effortlessly with all the dancers.

This season's dark horse?

What's made Season 14 so thrilling to watch is the fact that the front-runner in the competition is always changing as the Idols take turns upstaging one another. Thato did such an excellent job on stage that Randall didn't know whether "he was made for showstopper or showstopper was made for him".

Energy on 100!

Given his affinity for dancing, expectations were high for King B and he didn't dissapoint. Naturally, his Wakanda-themed extravaganza had everyone on their feet and dancing along with him by the time he was done.

This Sunday another elimination looms but those who survive the cut will get to perform twice which will undoubtedly aliviate some of the pressure to give a perfect performance.
