The search for the lost Gatsheni heir is on!
isibaya baby siya missing

There is no pain quite like losing a child. Even worse, a defenceless baby taken into the wilderness by a mad man! The search for baby Siya of the house of Gatsheni is hot and on. Here are a few ideas that we think could helo them locate their baby!

1. Bring back Mgijimi

It's a big risk, but maybe Mpiyakhe sacrificing himself and transforming into Mgijimi could help find his grandson. Mgijimi is fast, loyal to Thandeka (or whoever holds the magic whistle) and has no time for coddling enemies like Nkabinde, Sihle and Ngwebedla with kid gloves.

2. Release Nkabinde

Another idea that may yield more regret than results. But hey, we're desparate here! The first thing Nkabinde would try to do if released is run to Baby Siya to make the sacrifice that would make him strong. So if Sihle could lead the Siya search party to Nkabinde, maybe Nkabinde can lead the pack to Baby Siya.

3. Power up Mehlo

We are not sure how or if it's even possible, but can Mehlo regain his powers and then some???

4. Bring in Nkabinde's family for questionning

No violence, but a little chat with the family in front of Nkabinde could persuade him to reveal the baby's whereabouts. Sunday Nkabinde does not care about himself, but he seems to really have a soft spot for Sihle, his wife and his daughter.

5. Call on the community to search

Ever walk past a cute baby and his errr grandmother and wonder - Where did that old scary looking lady get that baby? You never know what people have seen, weird neighbours up to weird things and sounds at night. Someone may have seen Baby Siya and thought nothing of it. An upstanding member of society or good citizen may have seen Nkanyamba with Baby Siya or seen her up to some weird behaviour.

The search is on and we can't wait for Baby Siya to be reunited with his parents. How will it happen? Will it happen? Stay tuned to #Isibaya every Monday - Friday at 20:30 to find out!
