Hair Meets Fashion

In one of the toughest challenges yet, the designers had to gain inspiration from their models’ hair to create the perfect avant garde hair meets fashion garment. They were given a budget of R1500 at the fabric store to create the perfect creation. We saw tails spin as designers ran around the fabric store as they were hit by designer’s block. As always the talented designers rose to the challenge to create their runway garments.

Gift the Giver

For the first time in the history of ever, Gift had left over change from the fabric store and staying true to his namesake, he bought peanut brittle’s as a gift to his friends, aww.

Laduma

The designers had a major fan moment when last night’s guest judge was introduced. It seems their not alone, the Twitter streets were also ecstatic to have Laduma the designer of international brand MaXhosa on their screens. Besides fan girl-ing over the amazing designer, Twitter really enjoyed his commentary.

Bosso ke Kentse

Kentse has a new nickname and it’s Treble Kentse! After a few weeks of being at the bottom she managed to rise like a phoenix from the ashes to victory this week! She’s found her groove after a few weeks of lost confidence; this win will definitely give her a confidence boost!

Farewell Gugu

In a moment of déjà vu Gift and Gugu were in the bottom two again this week but this time only one would leave unscathed. She managed to survive last week’s non-elimination round but as the game goes, elimination will come for everyone but the winner. We said goodbye to Gugu who promises to build ‘Brand Gugu’ and we can’t wait to see her succeed.

Last Woman Standing

With Gugu’s elimination, Kentse is now the only female standing. Where the competition will go? Only time will tell. Is your favourite still in the competition?
