Tshidi friend-zoned Nhlanhla immediately after their first date. Little did she know he’d be the man she’d walk down the aisle and marry one day.
It all started way back in 2009, when they met at the movies. Nhlanhla longed to get close to Tshidi, for she had captured his heart and he made sure that they ended up watching the same movie.
After the movie, he asked her for her number, so he could set up another date with her. He called her and asked her out but Tshidi didn’t quite warm up to him at first because she wasn’t too sure about him.
Naturally, he was slightly discouraged, but Nhlanhla didn’t give up. They only began to click the second time they went out on a date. To win Tshidi over, Nhlanhla had a chat with her best friend and it’s the friend who kind of tipped the scale in Nhlanhla’s favour and it was only in 2013 that the two started dating.
Nhlanhla popped the big question on their anniversary and being the perfect gentleman, he approached Tshidi’s mother first, to ask for her daughter’s hand in marriage. Today, they start their journey as husband and wife.
