Precious had never been in a relationship her entire life before she met Martin and while it was a little scary at first for him, he was determined to prove that he was the man she'd been waiting for her whole life.
The couple met in 2016. Martin had been single for two years and his friend suggested he checks out a dating site, to see if he might meet someone he likes. Martin signed up on one of many dating sites found on the internet and while he did meet a couple of potentials, none of them were appealing to him.
Then, he came across Precious’ profile and he was quite interested, so he inboxed her and they started chatting casually. They exchanged numbers and he later asked if they could meet up somewhere to get to know her even better.
Now, coming from a strict home, Precious flatly refused to meet Martin at first but he was able to convince her a week later. She made sure he did not show up at her house by suggesting they meet at a public place, the car wash. That was where their relationship began.
Martin proposed that year in December. Precious was asleep and woke up to Martin on one knee, asking her to marry him. Of course she said, “Yes!”
While Martin was sceptical at first about being on the show, he eventually agreed, for he’d do anything to make Precious happy.
