Our esteemed judges have earned their stripes in the entertainment industry, particularly in music, and have amassed enough accolades individually and a group to be considered experts on what makes the South African music industry tick. It's no wonder they were chosen to sit on the judging panel of Clash of the Choirs and dispense the kind of advice that could potentially take industry mafikizolo's and turn them into superstars.

Dr Rebecca Malope is easily the biggest name in South African gospel music. With more than 30 years in the music industry and with no signs of slowing down or fading, she knows exactly how to become a star, and stay a star. She shared a personal story of how she had to learn to handle criticism in a way that grew and developed her instead of breaking her down. Valuable advice for the choirs.

Who better to give the choirs winning advice than a winning choirmaster? Veteran musician Robbie Malinga led his choir to victory in season two, so he knows what will win both the judges and the country over. As a guest judge standing in for Zwai Bala, he advised the choirs not to take criticism as a means to break them, but to build them.

Broadcaster Anele may not be an recording artist herself, but as a radio disk jockey, she certainly has a finger on the pulse of what South Africa likes to listen to. She said at the beginning of the season that she represents the average South African than knows what sounds good and what doesn't, what is entertaining and what isn't. She advises the choirs to really listen to the judges' advice and do their best to heed it, because they know how the past two winning choirs claimed victory.
