It is not often that a queen is dethroned from her seat of power but it would seem Harriet has had a long week fighting for her place in the Khoza house wit the arrival of Mzi's sister, Thulile. Talk about having the sister-in-law from hell coming into your life long after your husband's death to shake things up. The question is, is Thulile marking up the wrong and dangerous tree or has Harriet finally met her match?
Harriet does not seem to be the type who plays well with other girls. At her husband's funeral she was unceremoniously thrown into his grave with his casket by his former wife, Zodwa. Now, she has the new nightmare to deal with, Thulile and the woman her husband had an affiar with, Violet.
Thulile made a grand entrace, disturbing a celebratory dinner for Kea who had come out of rehab, with Violet and her son Ayanda hanging on to her skirt for dear life. Harriet must have known that the nightmare was only beginning.
The first item on Thulile's agenda was to tell everyone in the Khoza family that Ayanda is Mzi's son. When her tales about how Ayands's ears and fingers were signs of a true Khoza, she resorted to modern means with a damning DNA test. This may have all been good and well and undistrubing if Harriet had handled Thulile with her hard hand, but instead she seems to have rolled over and cried for mama. Outside of a few pity party session with Kgosi, Harriet has done little to protect herself and her throne.
The real test for Harriet seems to be Thulile's order that Violet and her son Ayanda, move into the Khoza house permanently. Brutus suggested that Violet could live in one of the houses owned by the Khozas but Thulile seems adamant to make Harriet's life more difficult than ever.
Harriet has shown that she does not take her enemies lightly, if anything she crushes them, included her own husband. Will Harriet put an end to Thulile's reign? How far will Harriet go to protect what is hers? Has Harriet been pushed into a corner by Thulile, her only match? Who is the true queen of the Khozas?
