when a mothers love steps in

There wasn's a dry eye in the room as Nombulelo and her mother, thought and imagined how happy her late father would have been to see his daughter's wedding day. Much has been said of daddy's girls and the close relationship between father and daughter, but on Nombulelo's day her mother stepped to share the happiness of both mother and father and walk her down the aisle.

It was a wedding that celebrated old-school love in vintage style. Nombulelo and Zakhele met years ago and although she ran away from him and his advances at first, they have since shared many challenges and joys together. The latest and biggest joy being their wedding day. Nombulelo looked as pretty as a picture in an off-white vintage wedding gown while her husband was dapper in a tailored blue suit. Also looking beautiful was Nombulelo's mother, who shared both joy and pain as she thought how her husband had wanted his daughters to have beautiful weddings. It was a tear-jerker moment in the bride's dressing room as mother and daughter remembered the important man in their lives. With grace an empathy, Thembisa helped them remember also, that he was looking down on the day with pride.

After that, it was all about celebrating the two lovebirds knowing that Nombulelo's father would forever be with them. Nombulelo was walked down the aisle by her mother, who also stood right by her side as she said her vows to her new husband. Nombulelo and Zakhele's love is an old love that only gets better and newer with time.

The pride, joy and Happiness on Nombulelo's mother's face could not be hidden. It was a beautiful wedding day for all.

A long, happy and blessed marriage to Mr and Mrs Ndaba.
