They had a clear vision, and it was beautifully realised.

Thembi and Lebogang were very clear on what they wanted for their wedding. Vintage was their theme, and they wanted the colour they described as "dirty pink" to be front and centre on their big day. Their wish list consisted of decor, the bridesmaids' dresses, and the food.

The first stop of the day was to the reception venue to view her wedding day decor. The couple gave Mama Jane a vision of dirty pink and vintage. Mama Jane translated that vision into rectangular glass tables with dirty pink napkins, and fresh flower centrepieces. Asked by Nomsa why they chose that specific colour, the bride explain that their theme called for them to have a ructis colour, and dirty pink blended well with the theme. The bride had wanted Tiffany chairs, but Mama Jane took the initiative to use Phoenix chairs instead. The couple agreed that she did a good job. Decor, check!

Right after seeing the decor, it was time to grub up! Once again, Mama Jane was given the responsibility of helping the couple check another item off their wish list. Mama Jane suggested to the bride that it was best to go with simple food that would be tasty. Thembi, a lover of simply, tasy food herself, agreed. The menu consisted of creamed spinach, pumpkin, potato salad, green salad, rice, fried chicken and beef stew. Everybody ate and practically licked their fingers! Food, check!

Last stop of the journey was the fitting of the bridesmaids dresses. Thembi, as usual, had a clear vision for the dresses. She wanted them cocktail and vintage, so she searched for the ideal dress on Google. Initially, the seamstress had a hard time seeing Thembi's vision, with the bone of contention being the bow detail that the bride insisted on. She refused to relent, and she got what she wanted. The dresses turned out pretty good!
