They ticked off everything on their wish list.

There weren't many items on Adolphina and Hendrick's wish list. Less is more when you're going for simple, sophisticated elegance. As the saying goes, simplicity is the ulimate sophistication. For their wedding ot be pefect, they wanted their decor, traditional attire and cake to be from the top shelves.

First stop was to the couple's seamstress Eunice, who was responsible for the couple's traditional attire. The couple would have two sets of traditional garb, one to accommodate the groom's Tswana heritage, and one to pay homage to the bride's Pedi culture. The couple didn't want their attire to be typical in anyway, so they incorporated just the colours that are typical to each culture, however the design of the attires were modern and contemporary. All the outfits got a resounding approval from both bride and groom.

Next stop of the day was to view the reception decor. The couple gave the decorator a brief, which she interpreted in a way that would remain true to the brief, but at the same time surprising the couple with touches and elements that she thought would be aesthetically pleasing. She gave the couple a glass table with pink napkins, a crystal centrepiece, mirror underplates and a champagne bucket. A stretch tent with white draping trimmed with pink would complete the decor on wedding day.

Final stop would be to pick up the cake. It was a three-tier stunner, each tier being a diffeent flavour - chocolate, red velvet and vanilla. The bottom layer was pink and the top two white with silver detialing for a pop of bling. The bride loved the cake but the groom anticipated it being larger.

On wedding day, all three elements came together beautifully and seamlessly to give the couple the wedding they've alway dreamed of.
