Lockdown

Bathabile and Dhiren are the unlikely couple that by societal standards, was not meant to work. She is Zulu, he is Hindu and five years younger than her. They met at a party when Bathabile's friend was determined to play matchmaker and get her coupled up. She picked Dhiren, and she was surprised that of all the men at the party, her friend would pick the Indian one for her.

Later that evening, Dhiren walked up to Bathabile and initiated conversation. They hit it off and started dating. A brief breakup happened when Bathabile thought the odds as a couple were against them because of all their cultural differences. Their time apart was miserable for both of them, and they decided to brave it and get back together.

After initial friction with their families, all smoothed out and their families became accepting of them as a couple. They have one beautiful daughter, and a lifetime of happiness ahead of them.
