Xolani and Jo-Ann are a young couple who are both down-to-earth. To comlement their chilled personalities, none of the element of their wedding were gaudy, extravagant or over the top. They were, however, well thought out and executed excellently, to the finest details. On their wish list was the groomsmen's suits, the venue, the decor, and the cake.

Thembisa, in her enviable brown leather skirt, first visited the couple and the groomsmen at the bride's home. The two were quick to let Thembisa know that they were a stylist and fashionista respectively, so expectations for their suits was already high. The groomsmen disappeared to change, and emerged in grey thre-piece suits, with the waistcoats a shade darker than the pants and blazer.

Next on the wish list was the cake, and the very brave bride was seeing her confectioner for the very first time, as well as tasting her cake for the first time. She chose Inspired Cakes because of the very competitive quote they gave her. The couple chose a vintage-style three tier cake, in chocolate, vanilla and red velvet flavours. Jo-Ann loved the chocolate flavour, and Xolani loved all three flavours equally.

The couple would host their 150 guests in an intimate hall overlooking a lake. The fifteen tables seating ten guests each sported vintage-style decor, with the cream, metalic brown and gold colours coming through beautifully. In the centre of each table was a lantern with a candle in it, ensconced in a bed of flowers. The decor got the couple's stamp of approval.
