She came in as a fun, determined and hardcore heartbreaker who didn't need any friends. Now it seems Winnie has ammassed a small group of ninjas who have her back forever. Winnie, Londi, Thishiwe and now Noxolo are all joined together by the struggles they face...and Winnie's heart that desires to save everyone.
Noxolo:
Noxolo has finally managed to get Winnie to help her cover up the true identity of the father of her child. It may be harder than it sounds with her being 12 weeks into her pregnancy already.
With the matric dance coming up she has planned to get Lwazi to take the fall for her pregnancy. How will she pull this off? Would it be better for her to just tell her mother the truth about her stepfather?
Thishiwe:
What Thishiwe and Winnie have in common is that they have both lost their mothers. Winnie lost her mother in an accident, while Thishiwe has lost her mother to a cave.
There is no one Thishiwe loves more than her brother and her mother, but the community burning her mother means she may never lead a normal life. Can Thishiwe convince her mother to come out into the light instead of hiding in a cave? Will Winnie really be able to help their family start a new life when she is reunited with Lebone?
Londi:
Things might be finally loking up for Londi. She is back at school, she has new friends and a new job with a boss who is willing to push her and teach her new things to further her life. What will her cheating husband do when he finds out Londi is doing just fine without him? Will he come to his senses? Can the new boss help Londi reach her dream of passing matric and getting a better life?
Winnie:
While Winnie seems to be able to get others out of trouble, she is getting herself deeper into it. Mandla is desparate to get his end of their transactional relationship. And it seems her grandmother may have seen her junping into his car.
Winnie is also juggling Panda, who wants to be her date to the matric dance farewell. But she has told him that won't happen unless he not only gets a date for Thishiwe, but a date for Noxolo as well. She may have her shortcomings, but Winnie is the life support for her friends and she will not leave them behind under any circumstances.
When will Winnie finally be reunited with Lebone so she can escape the trouble of Bergville? Will Winnie pass her matric year? What trouble awaits the girls just as things are coming together for them?
