Last week, we all wondered if Winnie would get to go to her matric dance after her aunt saw her and Mandla in the car outside at night. Winnie's aunt is grappling between cruelty and discipline to keep her in check. This week she punished her to the point we thought the ninjas would not have their magical matric dance...but Winnie always has a plan.
Step 1: Get your wardrobe right
Winnie's aunt took all her clothes...including the ren number she wore on the night she met Lebone, and hid them from Winnie. It is not clear what she did with the clothing but Winnie was dumbfounded to find that she had nothing to wear but a brown sack just minutes before the matric dance.
So what did the ingenious Winnie do? She left her aunt jaw on the floor, got in the car with Panda and cut up Noxolo's number to make herself a classic Winnie design!
Step 2: Make sure your girls look stunning
Noxolo's mother, with all the love in her heart, made her what could possibly have been the most hideous dress for her matric dance. Likely, something to be worn by one of Cinderella's ugly sisters to the ball. Noxolo quickly changed up the outfit to the something new, blue and tighter that Winnie had picked out for her.
Step 3: Make sure all the ninjas have dates
It is slim pickings in terms of dates in Bergville, but Winnie found a way to make sure none of her ninjas was wthout a date. In the end, Panda's impatience led him to lose the chance to make a grand entrance with Winnie.
Step 4: Travel in...fun
The ninjas did not quite get travelling in style right, but they sure managed to travel in fun altogether. Panda and his friend Cassper came to pick up the beautiful ladies in a hearse, then they could not wait a couple of hours for Winnie and the girls to get ready. The ninjas hopped on the back of a van and still managed to dance the night away.
Step 5: Make a grand entrace!
Dresses made, transport arranged and everything ready the ninjas made their grand entrance and managed to stop time for a moment at their matric dance.
Step 6: Dance the night away!
Winnie and Thishiwe had the cutest time dancing the matric dance away together. Noxolo dance with Lwazi and even had time for some good conversation with the young man who seems to care deeply for her. A few miles away, Londi was dancing her night away with her boss.
