Part of what's so amazing about Idols SA is the show's ability to bring under one roof, people from every single walk of like. Whether you dress to the nines or keep things simple and stylish, fashion is very much an expression of what makes you an individual. As such, the looks people showcase at auditions are often as vibrant, varied and unique as the vocals we're treated to. Here are some of our fave ensemble's from our hopefuls in Cape Town.

We think Cresswill Levendal kept things street and this shade of green is stunning and suits him to a tee. The matching bandana is the cherry on top. Overall, the whole look is urban but still stylish.

Shea Butter Twitter are gagging. We love the African print and turban. Colourful and striking enough to make a statement. Casual and comfortable enough for a long day of queuing. A smart choice indeed ladies.

On the other end of the spectrum you can also bank on wow factor to make you stand out. These ladies are giving us afro-futurist, comic book vibes with their neon braids! The long sweater the gentleman in the middle is rocking also looks ultra modern. Can't go wrong with flaunting you best assets either. The short shorts and leather is a look!

The long hair, the white sneaks, the crop top and skinny jeans? We're getting serious Britney Spears (circa-2004) vibes. This is how you do effortlessly glam. Hats off Cher!

Everything about this look just screams style and the top hat is a very classy touch. It's not easy pulling off such a fitted look but banging bodies don't come easy so if you've got it, flaunt it. Tell us what you think is the ideal look for an Idols audition below. Ready for Pretoria this Sunday?

Idols SA airs on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) every Sunday at 17:30
