When someone mentions "ProVerb", we can't help but smile. Why shouldn't we? Afterall, our ProVerb has been and continues to be a rock and the perennial shoulder to cry on for all kinds of talent, season after season of Idols. His shirts have seen so many tears - sad tears, angry tears, disappointed tears, happy tears... And now with Idols SA season 13 in full swing, ProVerb and his shirts are preparing to be drenched all over again. But it's all ok, right? Because that's just the type of person he is. And that's why we love him. We caught up with ProVerb recently to find out where he's at. This is what we managed to get out of our 'Forever #MCM'. Enjoy!

Tell us a secret about Idols Season 13

The guest judges bring a new magic to the show, and this season is going to be absolutely spectacular. There isn't a shortage of talent and the funnies are a plenty as well.

What are you most excited about in life right now?

I'm very excited about the new season of Idols, my new radio shows on Kaya FM and the new business ventures I'm pursuing.

What are you completely bored of right now?

I'm bored with the bad news around the country and the negativity and I crave for some good vibes around the country

What would you be doing if you weren’t an entertainer?

I'd be trying to be one.

What is something that recently moved you to tears?

My kids message on Father's Day.

Which song do you wish you had ‘writer’ credit for?

Eminem – “Lose Yourself”

What one thing do you always have in your fridge?

Pre-mixed Oros

One thing you still have from your childhood?

My tennis racquet
