Ever since Thakane got ahold of Bonngoe’s true last will in testament, things have never been quite the same. Also, the ugly truth about Maru came crawling bit by bit, out of the woodwork. First came the troubling death of Sibahle then Mapule’s ordeal with dirty cop Msomi and then Nthatisi coming back to claim her rightful place in the Makhetha family.
Thakane then joined forces with Morakile after learning the true identity of her new lover, Mr Mbili. Xolani, as we all know, was here to avenge the sudden death of Princess Oarabile. Together they have all banded with the King, meticulously and methodically planning the demise of one cold-blooded murderer, Maru.

Morakile has managed to win the council over. Well, somewhat. He agreed to forgive them on condition that they make Maru pay for his crimes. He also is going to need them to allow Nthathisi her rightful position in the family, and groom her into the new leader.
But it wasn’t too long before Maru was back with a new trick up his sleeve.
