Strife strikes once again at the Gatsheni’s. One can only wonder what Sbu did to deserve a troublesome dad like Samson. His wheeling and dealing has left a cloud of darkness over the Ndlovu’s with poor Mabuyi caught in the cross fire. Literally.
Before we discuss the future – or tragic loss of it – for Mabuyi and Sbu can we find out what got us here. How does Gatsheni land up in a hospital bed after surviving a bullet at the hands of Judas’ hit men? Were they not the best of pals? It’s like we blinked our eyes and before we knew it Ngwenya’s terror of a son was ordering a hit on Samson, his brother and his son.
It all started when Samson and Judas had to share power. Having sabotaged and removed current leader, Mpiyakhe, from the equation the chief spot was up for the taking. But as it turns out, the dangerous duo were never friends and so they couldn’t share the power, were that an option. Judas was prepared to kill even Samson and his whole family in order to come into power.
This is how a pregnant and budding Mabuyi found herself at the wrong place at the worst time. Power bullets went flying and the mom-to-be was caught in the fatal cross fire. Losing the baby was inescapable after six gun shot blows.
What does this mean for Sbu and Mabuyi? Will Thandeka take him back after this?
