So amidst a back and forth with the law and making a media spectacle of himself, Maru was expecting a baby. Well at least that’s what he’s been led to believe by his wife, Tselane.
Tselane revealed herself to be quite untrustworthy back then when she threatened Maru that she’d go public with a recording of him confessing to murdering his father with his own cold blooded hands.
Things have since spun in her favour. Maru agreed to marry her and proceeded to enlist all his wealth in her name. Talk about scoring!
There was never a more rushed wedding. Soon after that however, reality came knocking on Tselane’s door. All it took was a couple of beers Xolani bought for Sharon D and she sang like a canary. Told him all about Tselane’s fake pregnancy.
It was too long before Detective Cassandara was on her tail, obliging her to be a witness in the court against Maru, or else her little secret was as as good as out and her life as good as over.
But it’s not over yet. Their plan, to trap Maru with a baby that isn’t his, is still underway. Gabi finally gave birth to her baby in a tough home labour.
