Just when they thought things couldn’t possibly get worse with Judas bed ridden in hospital and Zama crossed over to the side of the enemy, the cops came to sieze all their riches: from their lavish palace and sports cars to their diamond encrusted home ware and army of bodyguards.
…and Beauty seems to have been at the receiving end of the hail storm of consequences and sadly the butt of a joke.
Yet, it is to Beauty’s mother’s home that she and Qaphela have had to take refuge.
Beauty’s mom, however, is not an easy customer. Apart from harbouring a distaste for her husband and son-in-law, she has a tumultuous relationship to her daughter.
