Planning a wedding is a mammoth task and little things may slip through the cracks. Here is a final check-list of important little things.

It is not called the "Big Day" just for romance. Weddings are quite possibly the biggest event any person or couple could plan for and undertake. There are no do-overs and little room for mistakes with expectant guests. Naturally, with a to-do list as long as the tran of the bride's dress, some things may slip through the cracks. Here is a lst of things to do last minute checks on for the perfect wedding day.

1. Pay all suppliers

Weddings are big business. Sometimes, when deposits for dresses, catering, decor and everything else have been pain its easy to forget that last payment. However, you forget it at your own peril. An incomplete bridesmaids dress, being sabotaged by a disgruntled caterer who serves only veggies and no meat at the wedding or the band only singing two songs could ruin what could have been a perfectly beautiful day. Tranfer oall final payments to bank accounts or place them in envelopes and be sure to have a trusted friend or family member pay it over to suppliers on the day or just moments before. Make sure they each sign acceptance letters that they have actually received payment.

2. Final Dress Fitting

You knew it was your dream dress when you saw it and you bought it immediately! It is gorgeous, a blemishless white, feels like angelic cloud and fits you perfectly tightly on those curves your husband-to-be loves so much. Except....that was 6 months ago. Or maybe even just a month. Wedding stress either means weight gain or weght loss depending on your body. So a last minute dress fitting a few days before the wedding with your dressmaker or seamstress could save you an entire wedding day.

3. Pre and Post-Wedding Catering

The wedding menu is delectable to say the least. However, what are family and friends arriving a days before the wedding going ot eat three times a day unti lthe big day? Also, post-wedding celebrations and family time may also need to be catered for. So get a caterer for all those days or round up the best cooks you know in your family to cook for the guests that arrive a little too early and leave a little too late.

4. Transport for the Pastor

There are some people we simply cannot get angry at, even if they are little ate becasue without them there is no wedding. Mmebers of the clergy, especially those presenting you before God and family are such people. Rather than risk your pastor being a few hours late becasue a bride on the other side of town just couldn't get ready on time, confirm arrival time and transport for him, should he or she need it.

5. Alone Time

In the jubilation and sometimes cacophony of a wedding day, wedding guests are a rabbit hole. From first time aunts and uncles to those who would go as far as removing you from your wedding throne next to your spouse to go get a glass of water, wine or beer for them over longwinded conversation. Finding a moment to yourself or your new husband or wife may be impossible. Schedule alone time for yourself, if you are an introvert or with your new partner in a designated room or your special car over a glass of bubbly.
