Getting Catty with Catwoman this weekend
Michelle Pfeiffer was the first actress to play Catwoman (in Batman Returns), and cinemagoers liked her so much that filmmakers decided to give the character a movie all her own. But instead of Pfeiffer, we have Oscar winner Halle Berry (Monster’s Ball), who is sheer purr-fection as the seductive, leather-clad, whip-cracking feline. Berry plays Patience, an ad executive who is killed after hearing her cosmetics king boss and his ice queen wife discuss a dangerous new anti-ageing cream that will make them millions. Patience is magically brought back to life by a cat, and suddenly she has the urge to prowl around rooftops and pounce on rat-like creatures. Bad news for the people who bumped her off?
Check out the trailer below:
Catwoman airs at 20h30 this Saturday.
