The auditions are still steering on towards the big competition. The distinction between this week’s trio of Choir Masters is vast: a highly acclaimed and well experienced musician Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, most popularly known for his eighties hit Burn Out; Winnie Khumalo who has been performing on stage since her teens alongside the likes of Brenda Fassie and has hits that are still commanding dance floors; and the only surviving talent of previously famous youth quartet Boom Shaka, the multitalented Thembi Seete. Do they have the necessary skills to find raw talent and form choirs that can compete in the much-awaited Clash of the Choirs?
